The core technology of the PESS Token used in Pass (the ad-revenue based value stabilization system) has recently been formally filed for a patent.

This patent filing is not merely a marketing tool; it is a critical process that officially validates PESS's unique Semi-Stable structure, which adjusts the token's issuance volume and value based on real revenue (eCPM-based ad revenue), distinguishing it from existing cryptocurrencies.

Once the domestic patent application for the PESS semi-stable token system is completed, we plan to proceed with foreign filings in major overseas jurisdictions, including a PCT international application.

General stablecoins attempt to fix their price, often following a structure like "1 USD = 1 Coin." However, PESS (Pass) does not pursue this fixed structure; instead, it aims for an 'elastic stability structure' where value fluctuates organically based on "real revenue flow."

When revenue increases, the price naturally rises, and when revenue decreases, it adjusts moderately. In other words, it is not fully stable, but 'Semi-Stable'—a "stability-oriented coin that moves with market profitability."

PESS sits halfway between a "platform asset that grows based on revenue" and a "point system." It is issued like points but possesses "value" due to its substantial basis in ad revenue, and while it has growth potential like stocks, sharp volatility is prevented by the PRF (Price Reserve Fund) buffer.

In short, "as revenue increases, PESS value rises, and as revenue decreases, the PRF defends it." This is the core of the Semi-Stable structure.

PESS Tokens are acquired by accumulating points through mining (ad viewing) within the mining wallet app. A specific quantity of tokens is then migrated to the wallet within the PESS App after meeting certain conditions and passing KYC verification.

You can also obtain tokens through airdrops and events.

PESS App Wallet Security

The PESS Wallet is protected using a non-custodial wallet system.

The secret phrase (mnemonic) and private key generated during app registration can only be accessed by the user and are never stored on our servers.

The secret phrase and private key can only be viewed in the settings through “View Recovery Phrase” and “Show Private Key” menus, and only after verifying with a passkey or biometric authentication.

Even if your email account is compromised, the recovery phrase and private key cannot be accessed without a passkey or biometric authentication.

Be sure to store your recovery phrase securely offline (e.g., on paper).

To prevent unauthorized access, do not use auto-login on public/shared devices.

Basic Mining Amount Reduction

Starting from June 2025, the basic mining amount will decrease by 100 PESS each month.

Profitability-Based Adjustment

From 2026, daily and monthly ad view counts and total revenue from the previous three months will be collected and analyzed.

Based on this data, the following parameters will be adjusted every quarter (every three months) according to actual profitability.

- Basic mining amount

- Reward amount per ad view

- Maximum number of ads viewable per day

Provide advertisers with a stable and sustainable revenue structure

Ensure users enjoy consistent and predictable reward experiences

PESS Token was initially issued on the BSC chain, and when the Pi Network transitions to an open network and achieves full decentralization (however, smart contracts must be supported on the Pi Network), it will be migrated to the Pi Chain as a token. At that time, the existing PESS Tokens can be exchanged for Pi Chain Tokens through the website. Since the migration will occur in alignment with the full transition to the open network, the exact timing can only be roughly estimated at this point.

Tokens earned through the PESS Token mining app can be withdrawn once a specific quantity has been mined.

Withdrawals will transfer Tokens to the in-app wallet.

PESS Token aims to be universally accepted in all ecosystem stores worldwide where Pi Token is used.

The initial rollout will begin in Korea and gradually expand to Pi Network ecosystem stores worldwide.

Listing of the PESS Token will proceed after the migration to the PiChain is complete. The token (Token) will be reissued under the Pi Network ecosystem through smart contracts provided by Pi Network. Following the reissuance, all previously issued tokens (Tokens) will be fully migrated (exchanged) to tokens on the PiChain.

- The listing is planned to take place within the year on TokenMarketCap, TokenGecko, and a top 30 global CEX (Centralized Exchange).

- Our goal is to be listed on higher-tier exchanges each year compared to the previous year.

PESS is a token that is issued only when revenue is generated, creating a structure where the value grows alongside the app's growth over time. We call it 'Semi-Stable' because we do not forcibly fix the price. In short, it is a system and token designed to be stable yet capable of growth.
